Dear Society Members and Friends,

Thank you for your support and participation in our society. We had a successful year in 2022, “Inspiring Family Physicians practicing in dermatology through education and connection.”  Meeting live at our conference in Vancouver was a fantastic way to end the last year.  We enjoyed impactful speakers presenting relevant topics and experienced the powerful effect of connecting at a live gathering.  We are financially secure as we enter our seventh year of existence. 

Exiting events and projects for the upcoming year include:

• Curated webinars tailored for our member’s CME needs
• New website!
• Primary care virtual dermatology courses to be awarded to rural Family Physicians.
• Live conference in Toronto

I wish good health and spirits for you and your families. Thank you for your work and efforts in your communities. Thank you for building with us  towards our society vision of  “Facilitating timely access to excellent dermatological care for all Canadians.”

I am honoured to keep serving as your President for 2023.   Our anticipated live conference will be in Toronto, November 3rd and 4th.  I look forward to another year of education and connection.
